What are Workshops

Generally our Workshops are more hands-on, whereas the Seminars are more lecture style with discussion, and time for question, and answers.

VFTE Workshops and seminars are for all ages and abilities. They cover  a variety of subjects that relate to the life and times of the characters in the Chautauqua programs. These workshops and seminars encourage active participation and applied skills  featuring interactive learning. Historical, storytelling, professional development, acting and choreographic workshops as well as after-school programs workshops can be tailored to meet your group’s particular interests and needs.

Cost for the workshops vary according to length and number of participants. There are also costs associated with travel and accommodations depending on your distance from Thomas, WV and a per participant materials fee where appropriate.
